Beaches - Avlemonas Kythera

Palaeopoli

It is the largest beach on the island. It is located on the way to Avlemonas.

The first part of it, called Piatsa, is partly organized with umbrellas and a canteen. The beach extends up to the ancient Skandia, where it is called Vothonas, with beautiful whitish sandstone rocks on the hill behind the beach. The third beach of Palaeopoli, called Limni, is separated by a beautiful rock complex with water passageways, known as Kamarela.
