Cultural events
Every year three festivals with dancing, food and drinks are organized in our region.
On the 17th of July the celebration of Saint Marina at the first harbour of Avlemonas, on the 27th of July the celebration of Saint Panteleimon in Palaeopoli, which marks the beginning of vine harvest, and on the 6th of August the festival of Christ the Savior, which takes place at the bay of Avlemonas where the boats tie up.
Moreover, there are various musical events organized by the bars of the village.
